A joint excavation is planned between EEHAS and Surrey Archaeological Society in the Summer of 2012. Stane Street, the Roman road, on which the Roman settlement of Ewell was established, runs through the site and we aim to look for evidence of domestic and commercial activity over a number of seasons. Dates are the first three weeks in July (actual working week not yet confirmed). Priority will be given to EEHAS or SyAS members who wish to volunteer.
